Directions

The Historical Society of Baltimore County is located on top of the hill behind the Cockeysville Library on Van Buren Lane between Padonia Road and Galloway Avenue. From I-83 North, take Exit 17, Padonia Road (bear right off the exit), and follow through the York Road intersection. Turn left onto Greenside Drive (a car dealer is on the corner). Turn right on the first street, Gibbons Boulevard. At the top of the hill, turn left onto Van Buren Lane and proceed to the Almshouse.

Hours
Open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Holidays
The Historical Society is closed for New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday, President's day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Winter Holidays.

Research Fees
Adults are $5.00 per visit.
Members are free.
