FREE, MONTHLY, GENEALOGY INSTRUCTION at the Historical Society of Baltimore County with local genealogist Noreen Goodson, and professional genealogist Angela Walton-Raji, BA, M.Ed. Angela Walton-Raji is the author of Black Indian Genealogy Research: African American Ancestors Among the Five Civilized Tribes, and has a wealth of general and niche genealogy knowledge, experience, and resources to share.

Special Notice:  For the first class of calendar spring, our local genealogist, Noreen Goodson, will present her special 2-hour “Genealogy – How Do I Begin?” workshop.  This class will explain the what, why and how we do what we do as well as work on several hands-on projects that will help you gain a focus for your research as well as provide you with basic tools to take with you to any repository you visit.  After a break, co-host Angela Walton-Raji and Noreen will connect their laptop computers and do some real-time demonstrations on how to use several web sites.  Bring your laptop and/or tablet and use the historical society’s free Wi-Fi.  It’s sure to be fun and enlightening!  Class size is limited to the first 20 people so please contact Noreen (Reeniej@aol.com) to let her know how many friends you are bringing.
